This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. (Daniel 4.17)
Politically inexperienced and socially crude Trump trumped Clinton, the suave political heavyweight to clinch the world's number one citizen title. Congratulations Mr Trump, President-elect of the US. Despite your notorious past, I believe there is a divine purpose for your emergence as the victor and my prayer is that God will use you to His glory. May you not democratise evil, deny the godly heritage of America and desecrate sacred human and family values like the outgoing administration.

So long, President Obama.
Obama became disconnected from those whose votes catapulted him to the White House and this is the way they reacted.
Obama's charisma and amiability were great but many of his policies were repugnant and especially anti-Christian.
During the campaigns, I found Trump an apology and an embarrassment but Clinton a disaster in the waiting. I found myself supporting Trump. At the height of the campaigns, following multiple revelations of several unflattering aspects of Trump's past, the withdrawal of support by many high profile backers, several unfavourable poll figures and the glee with which mainstream media in the US and several VVIPs the world over denounce him, I felt the prospect of a Trump presidency seriously dim.
Then came the renewed Clinton email saga, that further dented an already un-trusted integrity, and the feeble damage control by the supporting media and even the President. The emails revealed a lot of skeleton's in the cupboard of the Clintons. Morally speaking, many people could not see the difference between the two contenders. Some felt that a crude sinner was better than a secret sinner.
The rest is history. Americans decided that Bill's two terms in office should suffice the family. The post slipped out of Hilary's hands forever. So close but so far now.
As for all those statements and comments Trump made about his planned policy direction that drew heavy flak from home and abroad but excited many whites fed up with the Obama presidency, he will have to sift reality from fantasy as the intricacies of national and global politics and alignments dawn on him.
For now, we expect some respite from the spewing forth of moral filth from the US and the attendant pollution under which the world is reeling. Mr Trump needs our prayers. We should keep praying for America. America's true greatness lies in acknowledging God and according Him his rightful position in their national life like David Cameron of the United Kingdom.
Many vital lessons deducible from the emergence of Trump as the President-elect are splashed all over the social media. A major take-away for me is that anything is possible because man is not really in charge. Never write anyone off. May you learn.
